Deputy Carol Nolan asked the Minister for Education and Skills if a new governing circular and application forms have been issued to schools in respect of the reasonable accommodation scheme for State examinations for the 2016-2017 school year; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The State Examinations Commission has statutory responsibility for operational matters relating to the certificate examinations. The Commission operates the scheme of Reasonable Accommodations in the Certificate Examinations.

In view of this I have forwarded the Deputy's query to the State Examinations Commission for direct reply to her.
