538. Deputy Willie Penrose asked the Minister for Education and Skills if he will take steps to ensure that an application for vital and necessary accommodation by a school (details supplied) is immediately progressed in view of the fact that there are not adequate facilities available to accommodate learning support, resource support and to facilitate teaching of the physical education curriculum regardless of weather; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I wish to advise the Deputy that the school in question has submitted an application to my Department for capital funding for additional accommodation.  The application will be considered and a decision will be conveyed to the school authority as soon as the assessment process has been completed.
