View answerThe issuing of certificates of naturalisation is provided for under the Irish Nationality and Citizenship Act 1956, as amended. I have no role or function in the issuing of birth or death certificates, which is provided for under Section 61 of the Civil Registration Act 2004 which is the responsibility of my colleague the Minister for Health.
