1978. Deputy Aindrias Moynihan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine the number of sheep welfare scheme payments which are outstanding; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [34604/18]

There are currently 650 applicants not yet cleared for payment for the 2017 scheme year.  These cases are currently being processed and will be included in future pay runs as they become clear for payment.  Please note, some cases may not receive a payment, for example where the applicants have not fulfilled their scheme obligations.
