Deputy Mick Barry asked the Minister for Health his views on whether there is an urgent need to increase the number of neurology nurses in the State in order to bring the numbers up to international standards (details supplied); if he will provide funding for at least an additional 16 neurology nurses for Cork University Hospital as part of 100 additional neurology nurses across the State;; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
