Deputy Carol Nolan asked the Minister for Justice if she or any officials from her Department or from bodies under the aegis of her Department travelled to the Sharm el-Sheikh climate change conference; the number who travelled; the costs incurred; and if she will make a statement on the matter. I can inform the Deputy that neither I nor any officials from my Department travelled to the Sharm El-Sheikh Climate Change Conference.

I am informed that one member of An Garda Síochána accompanied Ireland's delegation to the conference. Costs for flights and accommodation are not yet available.
