236. Deputy Sean Sherlock asked the Minister for Justice the amount spent on social media advertising in 2021 and to date in 2022, in tabular form; and the amount spent per platform. [62809/22]
View answerI wish to advise the Deputy that the budget for my Department includes expenditure on public awareness campaigns. In 2021 and 2022 such expenditure primarily related to awareness campaigns on Domestic, Sexual and Gender Based Violence, in addition to campaigns to promote awareness of the regularisation scheme for undocumented migrants, and to highlight the dangers of fireworks in the run-up to Halloween.
These campaigns included expenditure on social media platforms, which is set out in the tables below:
