338. Deputy Catherine Murphy asked the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage the estimated full-year cost of recruiting 30 additional full-time WTE conservation rangers, in tabular form. [4193/23]

Based on the current pay levels for Conservation Rangers, the estimated cost of recruiting an additional 30 Conservation Rangers for the National Parks and Wildlife Service is €892,000. My Department is currently engaged with the Public Appointments Service in recruiting additional Conservation Rangers.
