Deputy Duncan Smith asked the Minister for Health the reason for the delay for patients (details supplied) awaiting orthodontic maxillofacial surgery for open bite, with current wait times of six to eight years and the prospect of losing teeth due to the unacceptable wait times for this surgery; to outline the way he proposes to address this; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
