Deputy John Lahart asked the Minister for Transport to outline in detail what plans and action have been taken by the NTA to date, or are planned for the future, in terms of providing park-and-ride facilities for Dublin commuters - particularly on the southside of the city, to take advantage of any proposed BusConnects projects which are due to be implemented subject to An Bord Pleanála decisions; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerAs Minister for Transport, I have responsibility for policy and overall funding in relation to public transport. The National Transport Authority (NTA) has responsibility for the planning and development of public transport infrastructure, including the provision of park and ride facilities.
