445. Deputy Sorca Clarke asked the Minister for Justice the amount of revenue currently owed to An Garda Síochána as of 3 May 2024 in respect to non-public duty charges for policing concerts and so on in 2023 [21408/24]

Minister for Justice

As you may be aware, the Garda Commissioner is responsible for the management and administration of An Garda Síochána under Section 26 of the Garda Síochána Act 2005 (as amended), which includes all operational policing matters. As Minister, I play no role in these independent functions.

I am informed that the amount of revenue currently owed to An Garda Síochána as of 3 May 2024 in respect to non-public duty charges for policing concerts and so on in 2023 is €720,141.
