Questions (553)

Jackie Cahill

Question:

553. Deputy Jackie Cahill asked the Minister for Health if, following the closure of the medical clinic in Emly, the HSE would consider running a monthly clinic in the building, with a nurse to take bloods, and so on, for older local residents, who are otherwise forced to attend GPs and run the risk of picking up an illness or infection or travelling a greater distance to Tipperary town; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As this is an operational matter, I have asked the Health Service Executive to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible
