Chair of Foreign Affairs Committee welcomes acquittal of Ibrahim Halawa

Deputy Smith said, “As Chairperson of the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs, I welcome the news of Ibrahim Halawa’s acquittal after four years of detention in Cairo. It is the Committee’s hope that Ibrahim will soon return to his family in Dublin without delay.”
