The Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government will brief the Housing Committee tomorrow on the review of Rebuilding Ireland and the recently held housing summit.
The meeting will take place in Committee Room 1 at 9.30am.
Speaking ahead of the meeting, Committee Chairperson, Maria Bailey TD said, “When Minister Eoghan Murphy was before our Committee in June, he told us that he was undertaking a review of the Action Plan for Housing and Homelessness. Our Committee welcomes this opportunity to engage directly with the Minister on that review and to discuss the submissions he received from stakeholder groups and the public.”
“The Committee will also question the Minister on the Housing Summit he convened in Dublin earlier this month. Members will wish to know if there any ideas or initiatives that arose at the Summit that will be included in the Action Plan and if there any plans to convene further summits.”
