Joint Committee on Health to meet to discuss the implementation of healthcare strategies for neurology and neurorehabilitation

The Joint Committee on Health will meet on Wednesday, 15th May to discuss the implementation of healthcare strategies for neurology and neurorehabilitation at 9:30am in Committee Room 2 of Leinster House. 

The Committee will hear from representatives from the Neurological Alliance of Ireland.

Speaking ahead of the meeting, Committee Cathaoirleach Deputy Seán Crowe said “The meeting tomorrow allows the Committee to get detail from the Neurological Alliance of Ireland on the services in place for neurology and neurorehabilitation. A key commitment in the current Programme for Government is the implementation of the National Neurorehabilitation Strategy.

“We will seek further information on what measures the representatives attending tomorrow would implement in order to supplement and enhance the services currently in place.”
