asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state (a) the date on which Cork County Council submitted an application requesting sanction for the erection of non-municipal type houses at Blarney, County Cork, and (b) the present position regarding them.

Plans were submitted by Cork County Council on the 6th February, 1958, and in an amended form on the 8th April, for a scheme of ten houses at Blarney. These were approved on the 25th April.
The council's proposals in regard to the acceptance of a tender for the erection of the houses are at present awaited.
