Vol. 415 No. 3

Written Answers. - Visa Application.

Tony Gregory

Question:

118 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Justice if it is the general practice to grant visas to spouses of Irish citizens resident in the State; and if he will review the application of a person (details supplied) for a visa.

All visa applications are considered on an individual basis, including applications from the spouses of Irish nationals.

I will review the visa application of the person mentioned in the question and as part of that review I am arranging for the applicant's spouse to be interviewed by officials of my Department.
