Ábhair Shaincheisteanna Tráthúla - Topical Issue Matters

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 37 and the name of the Member in each case:

Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív - to discuss concern in regard to the LEADER programme in Galway for 2023 to 2027 and the lack of a dedicated island LEADER subgroup fund for the offshore islands. Deputy Jackie Cahill - to discuss the public use of the swimming pool in Templemore Garda College. Deputy Danny Healy-Rae - to discuss the critical situation in Kerry regarding accommodation for a person with intellectual disability in residential care. Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh - to discuss the need for a multi-sport all-weather pitch on the Marrowbone Lane site owned by Dublin City Council. Deputy Jennifer Murnane O'Connor - to discuss plans to change the model of contracts for services held between the Departments of Social Protection and Health and dentists. Deputy Jim O'Callaghan - to discuss the recruitment crisis within An Garda Síochána. Deputies Thomas Gould, Pádraig O'Sullivan, Colm Burke and Mick Barry - to discuss a review of the amalgamation of St Vincent's Secondary School and North Presentation Secondary School in Cork. Deputy Denis Naughten - to discuss the decision on the amalgamation of St Vincent's Secondary School and North Presentation Secondary School in Cork. Deputy Holly Cairns - to discuss plans to restrict home birth services to women living within 30 minutes of a maternity hospital. Deputy Christopher O'Sullivan - to discuss the special needs assistant, SNA, allocation for Innishannon National School. Deputy Darren O'Rourke - to discuss an update on the school transport system and the need to provide additional capacity on the Skryne-Rathfeigh to Navan post-primary centre route. Deputy Mattie McGrath - to discuss the failure by the HSE to provide appropriate disability services to children with disabilities in community healthcare organisation, CHO, 5, including respite and residential services. Deputy Maurice Quinlivan - to discuss plans to address the ongoing issues of capacity and staffing at University Hospital Limerick, UHL. Deputy Chris Andrews - to discuss the increase in exemptions from Part V social housing obligations in Dublin city due to the size of a site. Deputy David Stanton - to discuss the need to begin recruitment for the Garda Reserve. Deputy Pat Buckley - to discuss the ongoing boil water notices in the Whitegate area of County Cork. Deputy Kieran O'Donnell - to discuss a public service obligation, PSO, to establish an EU hub connectivity from Shannon Airport to Amsterdam or another major European airport hub. Deputy Donnchadh Ó Laoghaire - to discuss an update on the consultation with survivors of institutional abuse and plans to act on the outcomes of this consultation. Deputy Paul McAuliffe - to discuss the need for a new school build for Gaelscoil Uí Earcáin, roll No. 20220C. Deputies Mairéad Farrell and Claire Kerrane - to discuss funding for Galway County Council.

The matters raised by Deputies Thomas Gould, Pádraig O'Sullivan, Colm Burke and Mick Barry, Aengus Ó Snodaigh and Jennifer Murnane O'Connor have been selected for discussion.
