Vol. 356 No. 10

Written Answers. - Group Water Scheme.

536.

asked the Minister for the Environment whether his Department have been asked to give approval for the laying of one and a half miles of six inch piping from Ballagh to Cratloe creamery, Abbeyfeale, County Limerick, for the purposes of facilitating a group water scheme at Knocknasna, Port; and when it is likely that this approval will be given.

A proposal to facilitate the development of the Knocknasna, Port group water scheme, is being examined in my Department at present and I expect to be in a position to give a decision on it shortly.

537.

asked the Minister for the Environment the financial aid his Department will give to help finance a group water scheme at Caher, Abbeyfeale, County Limerick.

As this scheme is still at the design stage, I cannot indicate the amount of grants which may be allocated to the group when work is ready to commence.
