So far as post-primary education for boys is concerned, the Rathfarnham area is being catered for at present by the CBS, Ballyroan. Proposals for three new schools in the area have been received—from Sancta Maria College, Ballyroan, from the Christian Brothers and from the County Dublin Vocational Education Committee. The question of establishing a community school in the area is also under consideration.
