This Special Committee was established to consider the recommendations contained in the Report of the Citizens’ Assembly on Gender Equality.
The terms of reference are contained in the motion to establish the Committee agreed to by Seanad Éireann on 7 December 2021. Dáil Éireann agreed to the motion to establish the Committee on 9 November 2021.
The Committee shall report to report to both the Dáil and Seanad within nine months of its first public meeting.
