Vol. 59 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Road Fund.

asked the Minister for Finance if the Saorstát share of the balance of the Road Fund of the former United Kingdom has yet been determined; and, if not; if he will state when it is anticipated the arbitration proceedings will be concluded, and whether he will state further the amount received to date under this head, and if any additional payments are likely to be made during the present financial year.

No further developments have taken place in this matter since my reply of the 21st March, 1933, to a similar question of the Deputy's.

Arising out of the Minister's reply, could he say whether any further developments are anticipated?

We always anticipate further developments in this progressive world.

Well, can the Minister say is there any danger of further developments?

There is a hope.
