Vol. 83 No. 5

Ceisteanna.—Questions. Oral Answers. - Price of Horse Feed.

asked the Minister for Supplies if an inquiry regarding the increase in the price of horse feed was forwarded to his Department on March 3rd from the Dublin and District Laundries' Association, and, if so, when a decision on this matter may be expected.

On the 4th March a communication was received from the Dublin and District Laundries' Association regarding the price of horse feed. The inquiry related to several items purchased from a number of firms and an investigation into the prices charged would take a considerable time. From the examination so far caried out the prices charged do not appear unreasonable having regard to the market prices of the commodities concerned.
