Vol. 104 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin County Council Road Workers.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he recently received a recommendation, from the Commissioner for the Dublin County Council, for an increase in the pay of the road workers employed by the Dublin County Council; and if so, if he is prepared to sanction such increase.

No recommendation for a further increase beyond that granted early last year in the pay of road workers employed by Dublin County Council has yet been received, but I understand the question is at present under consideration by the commissioner for the county council.
