Vol. 120 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Land Acquisition and Division.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the position now as regards the Shaw Minors estate, Iallagh; whether he is aware that acute congestion exists in that area, and whether he will urge on the Land Commission that this estate should be given over immediately to the local congests.

The Land Commission have not yet reached a decision regarding the acquisition of this estate. I am aware of the congestion in the area, but the estate must be acquired before it can be allotted.
