Vol. 127 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Daingean Housing.

Mr. O'Higgins

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the housing plans which are contemplated by the Offaly County Council for the town of Daingean and when any contemplated scheme will be put into operation.

I am informed that according to a survey carried out this year a need exists for ten houses in Daingean and that the Offaly County Council propose to provide for the erection of the required houses in a general housing scheme being prepared for the county. I am not in a position to say when the proposed scheme will be put into operation.
