Vol. 164 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cornamona (Galway) National School.

asked the Minister for Education if he has yet sanctioned a grant for the erection of a new school in Cornamona, County Galway.

As the reverend manager was unable to acquire the site which he had in mind some time ago for the proposed new national school at Cornamona, County Galway, and as he has not yet succeeded in acquiring any other site, a grant towards the cost of the erection of the school has not been sanctioned by my Department. The Deputy will understand that no progress can be made as regards the arrangements for a new school until a suitable site has been made available.
