Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Land Valuation and Rate Relief.

Mr. Kyne

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state in respect of each of the financial years 1955-56 and 1956-57 (a) the total valuation of (i) land, and (ii) houses in each county health district; (b) the total rate relief on agricultural land, indicating separately the total amounts of (i) primary allowance, (ii) employment allowances for agricultural employees, and (iii) employment allowances for members of farmers' families; and (c) the number of persons in respect of whom allowances were granted, indicating separately the number of employees and family members.

(2) Separate figures are not available for the valuation of dwelling houses. The heading "buildings" includes factories, shops, outhouses, etc., as well as dwelling houses.
