Vol. 172 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Purchase of Reactor Cows in Kerry.

8.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state the number of reactor cows purchased in County Kerry under the bovine tuberculosis clearance scheme to the nearest available date, and the total cost of the purchases.

The number of reactor cows purchased in County Kerry up to 24th January, 1959, was 12,164 and the total cost of these purchases was £449,153.

Yes, it is under £40.

Is that not very bad?

I do not know.

Everybody else would.
