asked the Taoiseach if he will state in respect of the administrative County of Dublin (1) the name and population of each district electoral division now in the Dublin County constituency and proposed to be included in the proposed county constituency, under the Electoral (Amendment) Bill, 1959, (2) the name and population of each district electoral division or ward now in the county constituency of Dublin and proposed to be transferred to certain constituencies in Dublin City, (3) the name and population of each district electoral division or ward now in the constituency of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown and proposed to be transferred to the proposed county constituency of Dublin, (4) the name and population of each district electoral division or ward now in the constituency of Dublin and proposed to be transferred to Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown, and (5) the estimated number of electors in each district mentioned in (1), (2), (3) and (4).

The following statements show the population figures returned at the 1956 Census of Population and the numbers of Dáil Electors according to the 1959/60 Register for the areas mentioned at (1), (2) and (3) of the Deputy's question. With reference to part (4) of the question the position is that no portion of the existing Dublin county constituency is proposed to be transferred to the constituency of Dún Laoghaire and Rathdown under the Electoral (Amendment) Bill, 1959.
