Vol. 233 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Meath Farms.

9.

asked the Minister for Lands if the Land Commission have yet had an opportunity of having examined the farms in County Meath, a list of which was supplied to him by me some time ago; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Inquiries are at present being made regarding certain properties listed in recent correspondence from the Deputy to the Land Commission but as yet it is not possible to indicate what the outcome may be. The matter is being expedited as much as possible, but this being the peak allotment season priority will have to be accorded to land disposal schemes for the next month or so.

I appreciate that the Land Commission are extremely busy at present but would the Minister say if the Land Commission will let me know the results of their investigation when it has been completed?

Yes; I will have that information conveyed to the Deputy.
