Vol. 233 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Louth Land Repayments.

23.

asked the Minister for Lands if the Land Commission will consider reducing the instalment repayments fixed for small farmers who received land on the Taaffe estate, Smarmore, Ardee, County Louth, as the repayments fixed seem to be excessive.

The determination of resale prices is a function exclusively reserved to the Land Commissioners. They have carefully considered the annuities payable by the successful allottees on this estate and are not prepared to make a reduction.
