As indicated to the Deputy in reply to questions asked by him and by Deputy O'Donnell on 25th May, 1971, I have approved the Irish Student Employment and Travel Association (ISETA) for the purpose of organising student charter flights. I understand that this association is now being sponsored for visa purposes by an appropriate US student organisation.
This is also the position in regard to the Irish Student Travel Service (USIT).
The further organisation and responsibility for the student travel programme is now one for these two bodies.
