Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Civil Service Irish Qualification.

21.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will amend the Civil Service recruitment regulations so as to obviate the necessity for candidates such as a person (name supplied), a native of Northern Ireland who has served 30 years in the National Army, to qualify in Irish in order to become an established civil servant.
