Vol. 322 No. 7

Written Answers. - Meath Vocational School Accommodation.

338.

asked the Minister for Education when the pre-fabricated classrooms at Nobber vocational school, County Meath will be replaced by permanent accommodation.

The present position is that the planning of a new school in Nobber is well advanced. My Department have received a request, however, for the provision of a new junior cycle second level school in Kingscourt. At present the Kingscourt pupils receive their second level education in Nobber, Bailieborough or Carrickmacross. The building of a new school in Kingscourt would, therefore, affect the number of pupil places which would be needed in the Nobber school and the situation is under review in the Department.
