Vol. 339 No. 9

Written Answers. - BBC Signals.

286.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the objections that have been received from the British broadcasting authorities concerning the rebroadcasting of their signals over the past five years; and the discussions that have taken place between those authorities and his Department on this matter.

The BBC has made it clear by letter on a number of occasions that it has reserved copyright in its signals and programme material. My Department have had no discussions with the British authorities on this matter in recent years.
