Vol. 343 No. 6

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

846.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason a suckler cow grant for 1981 was not paid to a person (details supplied) in County Donegal.

The person named has not been paid 1981 EEC suckler cow premium because it was necessary to have her registered as herdowner following the death of her spouse in whose name the application was made. Now that this has been done, payment will be made shortly.

847.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason a grant of £2,300 which was sanctioned for a person (details supplied) in County Limerick is not being paid; the amount he will qualify for by way of grant; and in what circumstances it will be payable.

The applicant has approval for a number of items including a milking parlour, dairy, concrete yard and soiled water tank. Grant aid cannot be paid until the soiled water tank outlined in his approval has been completed to specification.
