The £11,000 eligibility limit refers principally to the provision of free hospital consultant services.
As I indicated in my recent speech on the Health Estimate I am now examining all the implications of the abolition of the £11,000 eligibility limit including the issues of cost, if any, involved and the relationship to health contributions.
