Question:27 Mr. Kemmy asked the Minister for Justice if he will outline his proposals for the refurbishment and extension of Mary Street Garda station, Limerick; and his plans to phase out the prefabricated buildings at this station.
Written Answers. - Limerick Garda Station Refurbishment.
The existing site at Mary Street is somewhat restricted and the Office of Public Works are considering its suitability for a new station and also the possibility of procuring an alternative site. It is planned to proceed with the provision of a new station as soon as this matter is resolved and the prefabricated buildings will be phased out when the new station is available.
