Vol. 439 No. 2

Written Answers. - Residential Property Tax.

Eoin Ryan

Question:

42 Mr. E. Ryan asked the Minister for Finance if income from post office savings bonds, certificates of maturing life insurance policies will be considered as income for residential property tax.

I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that "income" for residential property tax purposes includes income from post office savings bonds but does not include the proceeds of maturing life insurance policies.
