Question:210 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for Education the plans, if any, she has for the development of the outdoor pursuits centre at Tanagh; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
Written Answers. - Tanagh (Monaghan) Outdoor Pursuits Centre.
The position is that at present my Department has no approval to extend recognition to any new vocational education committee operated outdoor education centres. However, the request for recognition of a centre at Tanagh, County Monaghan will be considered in the context of any review of the outdoor education provision.
