199 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Education if he has received an application from a community (details supplied) in County Sligo in respect of the recreational facilities scheme under the national lottery for the development of playing fields and other such facilities; and the proposals, if any, she has to make a grant available under the scheme to augment the finance already raised by the local community.
An application has been received from the organisation in question under my Department's recreational facilities Scheme. All applications received under the scheme are presently under consideration by my Department and a decision in the matter will be conveyed to the organisation as soon as possible.
