Question:75 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for the Environment the research, if any, which has been carried out in consultation with local authorities regarding the future funding of water supplies.
Written Answers. - Funding of Water Supplies.
The financing of water services is subject to ongoing examination by my Department, which has the benefit of local authority advice and input on a regular basis. In addition, the ESRI have been commissioned to carry out a study, which will be available shortly, of the question of contributions from industry towards the provision of water facilities.
