Vol. 442 No. 10

Adjournment Debate Matters.

I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 20 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Frances Fitzgerald — the future funding of the National Theatre in the context of the crisis facing the theatre at present; (2) Deputy O'Hanlon — the difficulties being experienced by coroners in performing post-mortem examinations; (3) Deputy Owen — the situation whereby a leaving certificate student (details supplied) in County Dublin who is dyslexic has been refused special assessment for her examination; and (4) Deputy Jim Mitchell — traffic problems in Dublin, in particular the lack of adequate enforcement arrangements and the need for a special traffic police.

The matters raised are considered to be in order and I have selected for discussion the matters raised by Deputies O'Hanlon, Jim Mitchell, Frances Fitzgerald and Owen.
