124 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for the Environment the expected increase in Ireland's current 8 per cent rate of recycling of commercial and household waste during the period 1994 to 1999 under the EU's Community Support Framework for Ireland.

, Wexford): I intend to publish a national recycling strategy for domestic and commercial waste very shortly. This will, inter alia, set out detailed targets for increased recycling in relation to this waste stream for the period to 1999.
