Question:192 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Health if his Department has received EU aid for technical assistance under the community support framework; and if so, the amount in the period 1989-1993.

My Department was allocated £300,000 from the Community Support Framework 1989-1993 under technical assistance-innovatory projects to develop a needs database for people with disabilities. No money was transferred up to the end of 1993 and to date in 1994 £150,000 has been transferred for this project.
The National Rehabilitation Board which administers the European Social Fund on behalf of my Department has received the following funding in respect of the administration of the programme for the period 1989-1993:
