24 Mr. Connor asked the Minister for the Environment the date for the implementation of the promised urban renewal scheme for sections of Ballaghaderreen, County Roscommon; and the area of the town that is to be designated. [471/94]
The Government announced last April that it is intended to introduce, on a pilot basis, an urban renewal incentive scheme in a small number of secondary towns in the west. The scope and extent of such a scheme, and the towns to which it will apply, are being considered at present.
