Question:86 Mr. Hughes asked the Minister for the Environment the proposals, if any, he has to introduce special speed governors legislation or regulations to reduce the maximum speed for trucks to 85 kilometres per hour. [1752/95]
Written Answers. - Maximum Truck Speeds.
Provision for speed limitation devices is made in the Road Traffic (Construction, Equipment and Use of Vehicles) (Amendment) Regulations, 1933 (S.I. No. 299 of 1993). Enforcement of the regulations is a matter for the Garda.
