I beg leave to announce, for the information of the Dáil, that the Government on 10 February, 1995 appointed Deputy Jim Higgins to be Minister of State at the Department of Finance with special responsibility for public expenditure and special responsibilities in the Office of Public Works. The Minister of State, Deputy Higgins, will be a member of the Cabinet budget and economic committee.
