Vol. 453 No. 2

Written Answers. - Social Welfare Benefit.

Thomas P. Broughan

Question:

72 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for Health if he will ensure that hostel or hospital accommodation is arranged for a person (details supplied) with a serious mental illness who is currently wandering aimlessly around the country and may be a danger to himself and to other citizens. [9153/95]

Limerick East): It would be inappropriate of me to reply to the Deputy's question which involves clinical details of an individual patient. I have asked the assistant inspector of mental hospitals to investigate the situation of the person referred to and will communicate separately with the Deputy when his report is to hand.
